### A Mixtape for My Wifey — September 11, 2026 This special edition of **Cross-Faded Radio** is one of our most personal shows yet. Little Bud turns back the clock to the days when making someone a mixtape actually meant something. Instead of simply building a playlist, every song is chosen for a reason, with the entire show dedicated to **DJ QUEEN** and the music that has followed her through different chapters of her life. The show begins with **Side A**, featuring songs connected to DJ QUEEN’s life before Little Bud entered the picture—the music she grew up with, her high-school years, her graduation song, and artists that became part of her personal soundtrack. Then we **flip the tape**. **Side B** becomes the story of Little Bud and DJ QUEEN together: their first date, concerts, family memories, raising their daughter around music, road trips, meeting artists, opening for the Luniz, and finally the song that became their wedding song. The night also includes the story of DJ QUEEN waiting more than **25 years to see Candlebox**, only for the couple to eventually see them three times in four years, meet the band, get her album signed, and turn a lifelong wish into a collection of memories. Along the way, you’ll still get everything that makes Cross-Faded Radio what it is—including the **Loser’s Lounge**, **Tokin Around Hot Box Trivia**, the **Tokin Around Duck Race**, **One for the Road**, and **Last Call**. It all builds toward one final song: **“To Make You Feel My Love” by Garth Brooks**, the song that was once dedicated to Little Bud and DJ QUEEN and eventually became their wedding song. **20 songs. Two sides of the tape. One relationship told through music.** This isn’t just a playlist. **It’s their story.**
